Terms of Service

These terms apply to the My AI Mates app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Dandy Man (collectively, the "Application"). Dandy Man is referred to here as the "Service Provider". By using the Application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Who can use the Application

The Application is intended for people aged 16 and older. Romantic mode is available only after you confirm that you are at least 16.

AI companions

The characters in the Application are fictional and are powered by artificial intelligence. They are not real people, and no human is writing their replies. The characters improvise, invent stories and play a role, so what they say may be untrue, inaccurate or unexpected. Please do not rely on it as fact.

The Application is for entertainment. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and does not replace a professional or the people close to you. If you or someone else is in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

Your messages and photos

You remain responsible for what you send in the Application, and you keep whatever rights you have in it. You allow the Service Provider and its service providers, including AI model providers, to process your messages and photos as far as needed to run the Application. The Privacy Policy describes how your data is handled.

Do not send anything that is illegal, that sexualizes minors, or that violates the rights of other people. Do not send photos of other people without their permission.

Crystals, purchases and subscriptions

• Crystals are virtual currency that you can buy through Google Play. Crystals and the items you get with them are a limited license to use content in the Application. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person.
• Subscriptions such as "More time together" are bought with Crystals and last 14 days. They do not renew automatically, and you are not charged again unless you choose to buy another one. Buying another one extends the current period. Allowances that are included for a subscription period and left unused expire at the end of that period.
• Outfits bought with Crystals stay on your account for as long as the Application and your account are available.
• Prices are shown in the Application before you buy. Payments are processed by Google Play under its own terms.

Refunds

Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled under Google Play's refund policies. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the Crystals it gave you are removed. If you have already spent them, your Crystal balance may become negative until it is covered by later Crystals.

Where you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, that right may end once delivery has started, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the law of your country.

Advertising

The Application may show advertising, including optional rewarded videos. A reward is granted only after an ad has been completed, and ads may not always be available.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• extract, copy or redistribute the Application's 3D models, art, voices or other content;
• reverse engineer or modify the Application, except where the law gives you that right;
• cheat, exploit bugs, or tamper with balances, purchases or progress;
• use automated tools to access the Application or overload its services;
• try to make the AI characters produce illegal or harmful content.

Intellectual property

The Application and its content belong to the Service Provider or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for your own non-commercial entertainment. Sharing the cards and screenshots that the Application lets you share is allowed.

Changes and availability

The Application is a live service. Characters, features, limits and prices may change, and the Application may sometimes be unavailable or be discontinued. An internet connection is required for AI features. If the Application is going to be discontinued, the Service Provider will try to give reasonable notice.

Suspension and ending your use

You can stop using the Application at any time and can request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account removes your progress, along with any remaining Crystals and items. The Service Provider may restrict or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent the law allows, the Application is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the AI's replies will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law or affects mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

The Service Provider may update these terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, you will be informed in advance where the law requires it. If you do not agree with the new version, you can stop using the Application.
